What began as a desire to create something we could fully identify with evolved into a universe of its own.
Founded in Mexico City in 2020, Minena is a fashion atelier exploring womenswear and accessories through an instinctive and abstract approach to design.
Minena speaks through silhouette, construction, naming, and attitude. Each piece stands on its own, yet forms part of an expanding vocabulary — a language shaped by intention rather than explanation.
All garments and accessories are developed and produced in-house at our atelier, where experimentation, pattern-making, and precision guide every design.
Minena is directed by Gabriela Carbonell, trained in Fashion Design, and María del Mar Carbonell, with a background in Communication. Together, they construct not only garments, but a narrative — co-designing the Minena universe where structure and meaning intersect.

A BELT TO REMEMBER MY DREAMS AS A TEEN

Not stitched. Printed.
Not designed to last. Designed to be remembered.
The Ⓟⓞⓢⓣⓔⓡ ⓓⓡⓔⓢⓢ is a fleeting manifesto — worn once, maybe twice — or framed forever as a relic of the now.
Born in 1960 through Harry Gordon’s radical vision, the original poster dress treated the body as billboard, as protest, as art. Almost paper. Almost gone.
Today, the Poster Girls reclaim the ephemeral.
